What size container will I need?
We recommend using a coffee jar that holds around 200 g of granules (roughly 700 ml). Any container of a similar size will work beautifully. Jars with larger lids are ideal — they make it easier to arrange your layers while you build your mini ecosystem.

What isn’t included in my kit?
The only things you’ll need to provide are a glass coffee jar and a little moss from your garden. Everything else you need to create your terrarium is included in your kit.

How long will it take for my kit to come to life?
You’ll usually start to see seedlings emerging within 4–6 weeks — though exact timing depends on light, warmth, and moisture levels. Patience is part of the fun — your tiny world will soon begin to thrive!

Why is the amount of water I add so important?
Terrariums are self-sustaining ecosystems, so too much water can upset the balance. Once it’s in, it’s hard to remove! Add water gradually during setup — just enough to lightly moisten the soil — and let nature do the rest.
